This is a covert, passive system designed to detect unauthorized activity. The Virtual Perimeter combines several technologies such as acoustic, seismic and infra-red sensors to detect, locate, and identify intrusion in a demarcated protected area. A Virtual Perimeter is most effectively deployed where a physical fence is neither efficient nor practical.
